I’m reaching out because I’m facing an unexpected and heartbreaking situation. The antique harp I had been performing with - a beautiful 120-year-old instrument generously loaned to me by Remenyi House of Music - was severely damaged during a very windy evening as I arrived at a performance venue. The initial crack in the neck worsened over time, and eventually the instrument collapsed completely.

This harp was my musical partner for the past four years, and losing it has been devastating both emotionally and financially. Due to the age and fragility of the instrument, repairing it would require a full neck replacement, which specialists have determined is not realistic. Because the harp was not insured at the time, I am responsible for covering part of its value.

The amount I need to contribute is $9,000 CAD.
