Hello, my name is Delvis Márquez. I am a Cuban university student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Theology (BA in Theology) at Andrews University in Michigan. I have felt a strong calling to serve God and others, which is why I chose to prepare for pastoral ministry.

As a student without permanent immigration status in the United States, I am not eligible for federal financial aid such as FAFSA, student loans, or government grants. This has made financing my education especially challenging. I have worked many hours over the summer to save as much as possible, but unfortunately, my savings are not enough to cover the tuition for the upcoming semester.

That’s why I’m asking for your help. Any donation, no matter how small, brings me one step closer to continuing my preparation for ministry. My goal is to cover the cost of tuition and essential materials for this coming semester.

Hola, mi nombre es Delvis Márquez, soy un estudiante universitario cubano cursando una Licenciatura en Teología (BA in Theology) en Andrews University, en Michigan. He sentido un fuerte llamado a servir a Dios y a las personas, y por eso decidí prepararme para el ministerio pastoral.

Como estudiante sin estatus migratorio permanente en los Estados Unidos, no tengo acceso a ayudas federales como FAFSA, préstamos estudiantiles o becas gubernamentales. Esta situación ha hecho que financiar mis estudios sea especialmente desafiante. Durante el verano he trabajado muchas horas para ahorrar lo más posible, pero lamentablemente mis ahorros no son suficientes para cubrir la matrícula del próximo semestre.
