Help me to attend the Global Environmental Summer Academy

I am Moses Kerry, founder and director for Mauberema Ecotourism, Nature Conservation, Education, Research and Training Center (MENCERTC), an indigenous youth-led community based organization in Simbu Province, Highlands region of Papua New Guinea. Our program foster community ecotourism and wildlife protection through conservation, education, research and training and support sustainable community livelihood development. MENCERTC has been awarded the 2022 Global UNDP Equator Prize Award and 2022 The Society for Conservation Biology Oceania Regional Distinguished Community Service Award for our outstanding contributions to providing nature based solution climate climate, biodiversity conservation and sustainable community livelihood development.

I'm a fellow of Global Diversity Foundation Community Conservation Fellowship.

I have been accepted as a fellow at the Global Environments Summer Academy (GESA) 2024 hosted by the Global Diversity Foundation and the University of Oxford’s Environmental Change Institute.

The Global Environments Summer Academy (GESA) is a three-month immersive fellowship for changemakers who are working to find durable solutions to complex planetary challenges.

The Fellowship will consist of 7 weekly online sessions (2hrs/week) starting on 17 June and ending on 29 July. In August, from 13 to 23 we will meet in person for a 5-day opening retreat in an idyllic rural setting, followed by a 5-day academy hosted by the Environmental Change Institute at the University of Oxford. This blend of online collaboration and in-person engagement promises a holistic and enriching journey from June to August, fostering deep connections and impactful learning experiences."

By being part of this fellowship, I will gain the skills I need to enchance our organization and community conservation effort.

The full cost of the Academy is £2,500. I have been awarded a scholarship for £1700 but I still need to raise £800 to cover the rest of the fee and for my international travel/visa...
