Hey there, I'm Lola, a 16-year-old aspiring female goalkeeper ! I currently play for Whitehawk Women and Brighton District Schools (u16). I've recently been through trials with Brighton and Lewes, and now I've got an amazing opportunity to join the best women's football college academy in my area. But here's the thing, I've set my sights on pursuing a football scholarship in the USA to make my dream even bigger!

Ever since women's football became a part of my life, whether on TV, social media, or in person, I've known deep down that this is the path I want to follow every single day. Playing football is an incredible privilege, and it has truly changed my life since day one. ⚽️❤️

I've seen inspiring players like Alessia Russo, Rachel Daly, Lotte Wubben Moy, and Lucy Bronze sacrifice their academy spots in the UK to pursue their education and continue playing the game they love. It's truly admirable, and it motivates me even more.

You probably know that if you're not picked up by an academy at a young age, the chances of playing football at a high level in the UK become quite slim. That's why America offers a second chance to those who take longer to develop or start later. The format there is designed to push you to your full potential, and the international connections are second to none.
