Hello, I hope this message finds you well. I'm Samah (33 years old) and Tareq (40 years old), a couple from Gaza. Until recently, we lived a quiet life in Gaza City with our children Ziad (3.5 years old , Hanan 10 years , Lyan 9 years , jowan 5 years ) .

The past months have brought tremendous hardships to our family due to the ongoing war in Gaza. We have lost everything and been deprived of the most basic human needs: clean water, adequate food and the ability to move freely.

The miserable condition negatively affected my son’s health, as he lost half his weight, his immunity is weak, and his psychological condition is very difficult. The situation here is difficult and time is running out.

We have no source of income, no food, no clean water, and if it is available it is very expensive, so our basic needs cannot be met, in addition to the other challenges we face.

My husband lost his job and is no longer able to continue his profession due to the damage caused by the conflict.

My biggest concern is my child's health deteriorating. The scarcity of clean water and nutritious food has contributed to the deterioration of his health.

As a mother, it breaks my heart to see his suffering on a daily basis. Now we find ourselves in a desperate situation with limited options, and we know that the only possible way for our family to be safe is to evacuate to Egypt through the Rafah crossing. However, the costs associated per person range from $5,000 to $7,000, an amount we simply cannot afford.

This is a call for help and a cry for humanity. Give me the ability to make a fresh start with my child and husband away from war.
