She is a British mother and entrepreneur who moved to Dubai full of ambition, built businesses, created opportunities, and contributed meaningfully to the community around her. Today she is trapped, fighting a legal and financial battle that has spiralled beyond her control, and desperately trying to get home to her son in the UK.
Over the past several months she has been caught in a legal crisis tied to rental disputes in the UAE. She spent a month in detention before a judge ordered her release and agreed a repayment plan. Without warning that same judge reversed course, cutting her timeline from 15 months to 15 days and ordering her back into detention.
Since November 2025 the economic collapse of her client base and the expiry of her UAE business licence have left her with no viable way to meet these demands locally. She has exhausted every avenue available to her.
The moment she is home she can work, rebuild, and repay every kindness shown to her. If you have ever felt trapped and just needed one door to open, you will understand where she is right now. Thank you for reading and for anything you are able to give.
Update 19/07/2026
Some funds raised so far have already gone toward essential living expenses while she remains unable to leave Dubai. Every donation is being used carefully and gratefully as she works toward the full amount needed to get home safely.
Here is exactly where your money goes:
Court payment to clear debt and lift travel ban: £19,000
Court fees: £500
Flight back to the UK: £850
First month rent and deposit in the UK: £2,000
Essential living and resettlement expenses: £1,650
Total: £24,000
This is not a vague fundraising target. Every pound has a purpose and a destination.
Your donation, whatever the size, brings her one step closer to that door opening
