Ever since I can remember, I've wanted to take an improv class. My friends always tell me I'm funny and are eager for my performances, but I know I could use some help with my jokes and delivery—sometimes, even my biggest fans tune me out! That’s why I’m reaching out for support now.
Right now, I’m unemployed and have been for five months. While that means I have the time and drive to finally pursue this dream, it also means I feel guilty spending money on myself. But I truly believe that taking this class will help me bring more comedy and joy to my friends, my community, and anyone who needs a laugh. I want to become a more entertaining presence for everyone around me, and maybe even take NYC by storm as the next big name in comedy.
What’s not funny is how tough things have been lately, but this is my chance to turn things around. With your help, I can get off the hard pavement and into the tax-paying class of Manhattan. Think of it as an investment in yourself—because every time I make someone laugh, you’ll know you played a part in it. Thank you for believing in me and helping me chase this dream!
