Hi everyone!

I’ve got an amazing opportunity to go to Denmark with my Explorer Scout group this summer, and I’m really excited about it! It’s going to be such a great experience and a chance to make loads of memories with my friends.

I also really want to help my parents pay towards the trip, so I’ve been doing little jobs to earn money, but I wanted to challenge myself to do something bigger…

So I’ve come up with my own challenge: a “Viking Walk”! ⚔️

I’ll be walking all the way from the Cuerdale Hoard stone in South Ribble to the Viking Golf centre in Southport. It’s quite a long distance, and I know it’s going to be tough, but I’m determined to do it!

I thought it was a fun idea to link it to Viking history, especially as I’m trying to get to Denmark - home of the Vikings!
