Help me take Ngarabul #LandBack!

Donation protected
Who I am and where I'm from: Yaamagara ngindaniir! My name is Philip Marrii, and I'm a Ngarabul Murri from New England NSW. My country is the area surrounding Glen Innes.
What I'm raising money for: We know that Aboriginal land in Aboriginal hands is vital  for not only the survival of our culture and identity, but also in the fight against climate change. Globally, Indigenous land holds 80% of biodiversity, yet Indigenous people own or manage less than a quarter of the world's land.  In Ngarabul country, that's less than 1%!
An opportunity has come up for me to buy back a small piece of our country that was stolen.  This stunning 20 acre block forms part of the defunct Kingsgate Mines at Red Range, on Ngarabul country, and is rich in biodiversity and cultural heritage.  We can get it for $49,000, and I've saved up about half of that amount myself, so now I'm asking for your help to take this land back!
If you're looking for a direct way to put #LandBack into practice, or pay reparations for colonisation, please chip in!  Country is everything to us, and every dollar we raise and acre we save means so much.  You'll always be welcome to come and spend some time on our amazing ngurrambaa!
More about the property: You can see from the video how biodiverse and alive this landscape is, and your donation will be helping to protect that for future generations, as well as improving it through weed removal, cleanup of any mine site legacy and planting of more native species.  There are several likely culturally significant trees, like scar trees and  smoke signal trees, on this block, and potentially other cultural heritage sites, so you'll also be helping protect this cultural landscape.
What will happen on this land: Ideas for things we might do include language and cultural revitalisation and education, growing and harvesting of native food species, reinvigoration of traditional architecture and just a self-care space to get away and immerse ourselves in country.
How the money will be used:
With the first $25,000, I will buy parcel 9 of 1000 Tablelands Road, Red Range NSW.
Stretch target: $30,000 - If we surpass the initial target of $25,000, up to $5,000 will be set aside for essential cleanup work on the land and repairs on the large shed on  site.
No money will be withdrawn until the  $25,000 target is reached and it's needed to settle the contract.
If we raise over $30,000, the money will be used to purchase the adjoining 60 acre block (Parcel 100) when it is listed.  No funds over $30,000 will be withdrawn until the full value of that property is reached, and will be refunded if it isn't reached.
Thank you so much for supporting us and helping protect a small piece of country for my  miigaay (daughter), Ngarabul people and our planet! <3
