Hi, my name is Myriah Duda, and I’m raising funds to attend the ImPacT program—part of the world-renowned ImPulsTanz dance festival in Vienna this summer.

My passion for the performing arts has been alive since childhood (as you’ll see in my profile photo!), but this program represents something much deeper than just training. It’s a step toward a lifelong dream of growing as an artist, connecting with creatives around the world, and using dance as a vehicle for healing and transformation.

For me, dance is more than movement. It’s been the gateway to my own healing throughout my life.

In that space of movement, something sacred opened—an unspoken language where my soul could exhale, and my body began to remember what it meant to be free.

Through conscious movement, I released emotions I didn’t even realize I was carrying. I cried, screamed, and danced purely from the heart. And slowly, my relationship with my body began to change. I let go of perfectionism. I began to listen. To soften. To care. I faced the truth: my inner critic had never made me a better dancer—it had only kept me from my true expression.

I believe my struggles—and my healing—are universal. I’ve become an artist who creates from the inside out, guided by intuition, connection, and truth. And now, I feel called to find others who are just as passionate about vulnerability, creativity, and peace through expression.

Being accepted into ImPacT is a huge honor and an incredible opportunity. It will allow me to train with world-renowned dancers, collaborate with international artists, and deepen my artistic voice. It’s also my first time traveling solo—both thrilling and a little terrifying—but a journey I know I’m ready to take.

I’m hoping to raise $10,000 to cover tuition, travel, housing, and living expenses for the duration of the program. After the ImPacT program ends, I plan to travel through Europe to attend workshops and connect with other companies and communities. This isn’t just a trip—it’s the beginning of a new chapter in my creative life.
