FROM A TINY BEDROOM IN SOUTH YORKSHIRE… TO PARIS

We did it. We actually did it.

Amani Kush went to London.

What began in a tiny bedroom in South Yorkshire — with no huge studio, no big fashion-house budget, just my hands, my ideas and a brain that has never quite worked in straight lines — opened a London Fashion Week show.

And we brought the house down.

Our collection Chains to Flames walked the runway in London, opening the show to an incredible response and a standing ovation.

People saw what I have been trying to build all along: fashion that isn't simply clothing, but storytelling, transformation and armour.

And then came words I still can't quite believe I'm writing:

Amani Kush was being compared to Alexander McQueen.

For an independent, self-taught, neurodivergent designer creating pieces from a tiny bedroom in South Yorkshire, that moment meant more than I can explain.

I don't have a traditional fashion background. I don't have a huge team, a production house or limitless funding behind me.

I create differently.

Being neurodivergent means my mind sees details, connections, textures and possibilities differently. Sometimes that makes the process harder. Sometimes it makes the world incredibly loud. But it is also woven into the way I create — taking something overlooked, broken, discarded or unexpected and seeing what it could become.

And now, after what happened in London, we have been invited to take Amani Kush to a fashion show in NEW YORK and PARIS.

London proved we belong. Now we need help getting to New York.

This invitation is extraordinary — but accepting it means another mountain of costs.

We need to transport the ten-piece collection, jewellery and equipment; get our team to New york; cover accommodation, travel, fuel/tolls or flights, insurance and the practical costs of putting Amani Kush onto an international runway.

We stretched every penny to make London happen.

Now I'm asking for your help one more time.
