Help me create the best learning environment for hybrid learning!


Because the new school year is full or uncertainty, we as teachers have had to make huge adjustments to our teaching so that we can help our students reach their greatest success.  As the pandemic continues I am preparing to teach both online and in-person simultaneously and having the Swivl will help me to teach more effectively to both groups. I have the privilege of teaching in a title 1 school where 98% of our students qualify for free and reduced lunch, yet despite the economic circumstances my student scholars are excited to learn are full of amazing goals.

With the Swivl I will be able to record my lessons while teaching in-person and the swivl will follow me as I move through the room so that online students are do not lose site of what is happening in the classroom.  Additionally, the transmitter has a microphone so that online students will not struggle to hear what I am saying to the class.  A final bonus is that I will be able to upload my classes to Google classroom so that students who are absent will be able to see what happened in class on the day they were out.  Your donation will set up my students for success in an uncertain school year.

I am asking for a total of $1500 so that I can obtain the swivl starter kit and the breakdown of what your donation will purchase is as follows:

The $30.00 in miscellaneous will be used for any additional accessories that may be needed to ensure the technology will work in the classroom (extension cords, adapters, etc.)

I am requesting this as a personal fundraiser as I would like to be able to keep the equipment if I move schools in the future.  Additionally, the transition to hybrid teaching will begin at the beginning of November 2020.  Your quick donation will ensure that the equipment and setup can be done in time for students to arrive and we transition into this new scenario.
