Hello, I'm Matt, and I have had a year from hell. I was made homeless earlier this year (just in time for my birthday, no less) and have been unable to find consistent work or affordable housing. I spent months sleeping in my car, which is almost due for rego and WAY overdue for some maintenance, which I obviously can't afford. At the start of the year, I was also diagnosed with EDS (a connective tissue disorder that puts me at higher risk for cardiac issues and workplace injuries) and Hashimotos disease, which I am nearly out of medication for. I am not able to safely move back in with family, as they are living in a tiny caravan and have been abusive towards me in my teen years. I want to work, I want to sustain myself, and I hate having to ask for this, but I won't be able to survive the next couple of months without help.
