My friend has always been passionate about cars, and for over 30 years, we've shared a love for building and racing them. Recently, he faced one of the biggest challenges of his life—a double lung transplant. Through incredible strength and determination, he made it through, and now he’s been given a second chance at life. As he recovers, there’s one dream that keeps him motivated: finishing his hot rod project so he can participate in Drag Week with his daughter. This event is more than just a race; it’s an opportunity for them to create unforgettable memories together and celebrate his new lease on life.

As a surprise for my friend, I am taking on the project of finishing his hot rod for him and his daughter. The funds raised here will be managed by me and used directly to purchase the parts needed to complete the car, as well as cover travel expenses so they can make it to Drag Week. I want to be fully transparent with everyone who supports this effort: I will be handling all purchases and arrangements, and I’ll be documenting the build on YouTube.
