Help Me Support Palestine – Climbing Ben Nevis for Charity
Hi, my name is Mariam and I’m 15 years old. This year, I’m taking on a big challenge – climbing Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the UK – with MSF. But I’m not just doing it for the adventure… I’m doing it to raise money for a cause that’s very close to my heart.
I’m raising funds for MATW Food Support for Gaza Orphans. I chose this project as my family is so important to me and I can't imagine what hardships some of these kids have to go through at such a young age. We may take for granted our parent's food and being able to be just a room or phone call away. So being able to bring a smile to a kids face even if it's with a warm meal will make a difference .
Climbing Ben Nevis will be tough – it's 1,345 metres high and takes hours of hard hiking – but it’s nothing compared to what so many people in Palestine go through every single day. I’m determined to reach the top, step by step, to show my support and raise as much as I can.
Even the smallest donation can go a long way – and if you can’t donate, please consider sharing my page with others who might be able to help.
Thank you so much for reading, for supporting, and for helping me stand in solidarity with Palestine.
With love and hope,
Mariam
