Help me support my mom

***UPDATE***
My mom has been diagnosed with a rare, advanced cancer (the equivalent of stage 4), and I am moving back to Rochester in a week so I can be closer to her to help care for her. As most of y'all know, I've been working between my trips home so that I can pay my bills, but any support will help with gas for travel & basic needs, as I'll likely be unemployed for a couple weeks. The past year has been challenging to say the least, and I'm so grateful for my little community of people. I love and appreciate y'all

Hey y’all. Many of you helped me move out of a toxic situation a few years ago, and I don’t take it lightly that I’m back here again asking for your help. If you know me, you know my life is full of rare, chaotic, often unimaginable circumstances, and (unfortunately) my current situation is no exception to this rule. My dad has not even been gone for a year, and now my mom has been diagnosed with a large teratoma (10” x 6” x 4”) that requires surgery to remove the tumor and a complete hysterectomy. Recovery will take six to eight weeks, with the first two weeks being the most difficult, and I am doing everything in my power to be there for at least those tough two weeks. My mom is one of the strongest people I know AND I know that she needs me there, just like I needed her for those two weeks I spent in the neuro ICU. If you know my mom, you know she will move mountains to care for the people she loves, and I intend to do the same. I have been working two jobs just to break even at the end of each month, and I have exhausted all my financial resources just trying to make ends meet. I know we are all struggling right now, and I am grateful for any support you can provide me and my family at this time. I’m circulating this GoFundMe in hopes that I can raise enough money to cover my flight home/back and two-weeks-worth of bills so I can be with my mom during her surgery and the two weeks following. If you can’t afford to help out financially, please send positive thoughts into the universe for all of us, especially my mom. I love y’all.
