Help Me Support my Dad Through Stage 4 Lung Cancer

My dad James was diagnosed with stage 2 lung cancer last year. Despite a major surgery and all his treatments it’s recently spread to his other lung and has metastasized to stage 4. The doctors are saying it’s presenting itself as very very aggressive and he was told he could live as little as one to three more years. He recently broke his leg which has made everything even harder while going through this news the last few weeks. On top of it all he has had to live in a hotel the last few months due to his apartment flooding.

My lease ends in just under a month and I am trying to secure a small van so I can get to and from Milwaukee (where my dad lives) as much as possible to spend time with him and to be able to help support him and help him find a new place to live while also having a home base to stay with my dogs while I’m there and traveling back and forth for work. I had a bigger surgery at the end of October that still has me in a tighter place financially and don't have the funds to get a vehicle without asking for help right now.
