Hi everyone! I’ve been given an incredible opportunity to join the TRG trip to St Martin’s School in Kenya this May 2026 to volunteer and support St Martins School, a school that transforms the lives of over 1,000 disadvantaged children living in the Kibagare slum. The school provides education, shelter and support for children in need, relying entirely on charitable donation to keep its door open.

This trip is all about giving back, learning from a new culture, and supporting a school that’s doing amazing work for its students and community.

What really inspired me was hearing the stories from those that had been on the trip in previous years and how much gratitude the children feel for the small things. It reminded me how often we take things for granted and how much of a difference we can make by simply showing up and caring.

While in Kenya, I’ll be:

• Visiting classrooms and spending time with the children

• Joining community visits to the Kibagare slum to meet families

• Taking part in the Saturday feeding program that helps nourish hundreds of children

• Hosting a sports day and a fun field trip for the students

• Helping older children with CV writing, social media awareness, Excel, and tech skills to prepare them for future opportunities

I’m raising $3,000 to donate to St. Martin’s School, which will go toward food, education, and essential resources for the children and their families. Every contribution, no matter the amount, will make a lasting difference in their lives.
