My name is Andres Valdez and I am a social worker and case manager based in New York who has been assisting this 3 orphan kids in Gambia, Africa. The oldest sibling is called Tomax and in his own words: "The rainy session in the Gambia is one of the most difficult times for anyone without a shelter . My little siblings and I are homeless and each day brings new challenges as the rain soaks everything we have . We have no safe place to sleep and no protection from the cold and wet conditions . These rains increase the risk of getting sick especially malaria .which is very common during the rainy session because of the many mosquitos . It's really painful watching my younger siblings shivering and exposed to sickness . We are truly in a desperate situation and badly need shelter."
