⭐Help me STUDY videogame engineering at UTAD.⭐

Hello, my name is Alejandro, I’m 24 years old and I live in Móstoles with my mother. Since I was 5 years old, video games have been my greatest passion: not only as entertainment, but as the way I’ve learned, dreamed, and grown. When I was 10 years old, I saw the first announcement of UTAD, and since that moment, being a videogame maker has been the dream of my life. However, things didn’t go as I expected

My life hasn’t been easy. I grew up without my father, who was not a good person (without going into too many details), and my mother has been my biggest support ever since. She always taught me to fight for a stable future, which is why I decided to study primary education teaching. I finished the degree, and although I love teaching, I always felt that my true calling was somewhere else: creating video games.

During this past year, while preparing for public exams, I decided to fully dive into programming, animation, modeling, and visual effects on my own, through Udemy courses and online resources. To my surprise, I turned out to be quite good at it, and I feel alive when studying this. For the first time in my life, I genuinely enjoy learning something, it’s a wonderful feeling I had never experienced before. Throughout my life, I doubted myself, but now I’ve proven to myself that I am capable of this.

My dream is to study Video Game Engineering at UTAD in Madrid. There, I would learn from some of the best and meet friends to grow and progress with much faster. However, the price is about €11,000 per year, for a 4-year degree + a professional laptop (around 2.000-3000€). My mother is willing to make a titanic effort to support me and i have earned some money with small jobs, but we simply cannot cover that amount.

Hola, me llamo Alejandro, tengo 24 años y vivo en Móstoles solo con mi madre. Desde que tengo 5 años, los videojuegos han sido mi más grande pasión: no solo como entretenimiento, sino como la forma en la que he aprendido, soñado y crecido. Cuando tenía 10 años vi el primer anuncio de la UTAD, y desde ese momento ser creador de videojuegos ha sido el sueño de mi vida. Sin embargo, las cosas no salieron como esperaba

Mi vida no ha sido fácil. Crecí sin mi padre, quién es una mala persona sin entrar en muchos detalles, mi madre ha sido mi mayor apoyo desde entonces. Siempre me enseñó a luchar por un futuro estable, por eso decidí estudiar Magisterio. Terminé la carrera, pero aunque adoro enseñar, siempre sentí que mi verdadera vocación estaba en otra parte: crear videojuegos.

Durante este último año, mientras preparaba oposiciones, me propuse aprender de lleno programación, animación, modelado y efectos visuales de manera autodidacta, con cursos de Udemy y recursos online. Para mi sorpresa se me da bastante bien y me siento vivo estudiando esto. Por primera vez en mi vida, disfruto de verdad estudiando algo, es una sensación maravillosa que nunca antes había experimentado. Durante toda mi vida lo he dudado pero ahora me he demostrado que sí valgo para esto.

Mi sueño ahora es entrar en la UTAD de Madrid para estudiar Ingeniería de Videojuegos, allí podré estudiar de los mejores y conocer amigos con los que progresar mucho más rápido. Sin embargo, la matrícula cuesta unos 11.000 € al año y son 4 años de carrera + un portátil profesional (entre 2.000-3000€). Mi madre está dispuesta a hacer un esfuerzo titánico para ayudarme y yo he ahorrado un poco de dinero con pequeños trabajillos, pero no tenemos cómo afrontar esa cantidad.

Por eso pido ayuda:
