Hi everyone,

My name is Théonie, and I’ve been given the opportunity to study Motorsport Engineering at the National Motorsport Academy of the UK.

I work as an apprentice in autobody repair, which led me to build hands-on experience in the automotive field. Although my path hasn’t been linear, it has helped me grow and become sure of what I truly want: a career in motorsport engineering.

To build the level required for studying engineering, I’ve been taking mathematics classes online with the University of North Texas.

I grew up sharing my passion for cars with my brothers. As the older sister, I introduced them to racing and cars, and we spent time discussing Formula One and rallying, and the engineering behind it. Cars have always been part of my family as well. My first mentor was my grandfather, a mechanic who worked on both repairs and bodywork. He passed down his knowledge to me, and was always dedicated to helping people with their vehicles. This environment naturally shaped who I am today.

However, the biggest obstacle is financial. Tuition costs around £8,700 per year, which I simply cannot afford on my own.

My parents have always supported me as much as they can. My mother works in the automotive industry, handling logistics issues, and my father works in the railway as both a train driver and instructor. They’ve always worked hard to support our family, but funding these studies is beyond what we can manage.

That’s why I’m asking for your help. This opportunity means everything to me. Becoming a motorsport engineer isn’t just a dream, it’s a way to build a stable future, do something I truly love, and eventually give back to my family.

Any support, no matter the amount, would mean a lot and bring me one step closer to this goal. Even sharing this page can make a real difference.

Je me présente, Théonie, et j’ai l’opportunité d’étudier l’ingénierie du sport automobile à la National Motorsport Academy du Royaume-Uni.

Je travaille actuellement en tant qu’apprentie carrossière, ce qui m’a permis d’acquérir une expérience concrète dans le domaine de l’automobile. Même si mon parcours n’a pas été linéaire, il m’a aidée à grandir et à comprendre avec certitude ce que je veux vraiment : une carrière dans l’ingénierie du sport mécanique.

Afin d’atteindre le niveau requis pour des études d’ingénierie, je suis actuellement des cours de mathématiques en ligne avec l’Université du Nord du Texas.

J’ai grandi en partageant ma passion pour les voitures avec mes frères. En tant qu’aînée, je leur ai fait découvrir les différents championnats. Les voitures ont également toujours fait partie de ma famille. Mon premier mentor a été mon grand-père, mécanicien et carrossier à la fois. Il m’a transmis son savoir-faire, sa passion, et a toujours été profondément engagé à aider les autres avec leurs véhicules. Cet environnement a naturellement façonné la personne que je suis aujourd’hui.

Cependant, le principal obstacle reste financier. Les frais de scolarité s’élèvent à environ 8 700£ par an, ce que je ne peux malheureusement pas financer seule.

Mes parents m’ont toujours soutenue autant qu’ils le pouvaient. Ma mère travaille dans l’industrie automobile, dans la gestion logistique, et mon père travaille dans le ferroviaire, à la fois comme conducteur de train et formateur. Ils ont toujours travaillé dur pour soutenir notre famille, mais financer ces études dépasse nos moyens.

C’est pourquoi je fais appel à votre aide. Cette opportunité représente énormément pour moi. Devenir ingénieure en sport automobile n’est pas seulement un rêve : c’est un moyen de construire un avenir stable, de faire un métier que j’aime profondément et, à terme, de pouvoir rendre à ma famille tout ce qu’elle m’a apporté.
