This fundraiser was started because I don't have enough money to fully cover my upcoming trip. My parents work incredibly hard for everything they do, and they have always been there for me, supporting me through every challenge. This time, we simply don't have enough to pay for everything, and I need to reach out for help from my community.

I've always been fascinated by Japan. Over the years, I've seen so many things about the culture, the people, and the country itself that have inspired me. It's always been something I've looked at and liked, and now I have the chance to experience it firsthand. I really want to make new friends out there, join new sports, and enjoy every moment while making memories that will last a lifetime. I'm especially excited to improve my Japanese and immerse myself in the culture. Being a foreign exchange student is a dream come true for me, and I hope that one day I might even be able to move to Japan.

The funds raised will help me cover the costs of traveling to Japan and living there as a foreign exchange student for twelve months. This includes travel expenses, accommodations, daily living costs, and the activities that will help me make the most of this once-in-a-lifetime experience. Studying abroad has always been a dream of mine, and your support will make it possible for me to learn, grow, and represent my community in another country.

I've already started preparing for this journey by learning Japanese, saving money, and researching programs. Once I know for sure that I can go, I'll be applying to the programs that fit me best. Throughout my time in Japan, I promise to keep everyone updated with photos, videos, and stories about my experiences and the goals I achieve. If I'm able to go, I'll make sure to share all the memories and moments that your support helped make possible.

This experience could truly impact my future. I am planning on returning to Japan and hopefully moving there when I'm older. I know this journey will help me improve in so many ways that I can't even imagine right now. Not only will I meet new people, but it will also be an experience that I will never forget.
