I am reaching out because I have the opportunity to participate in my community college's study abroad program in Ireland this summer, where I will be staying at Trinity College, a very historic university. This is a dream come true for me, as I have never traveled east of the Rocky Mountains, let alone left North America. The chance to immerse myself in a new culture and study English literature in such a historic setting is something I know will help me grow both academically and personally.

The funds I am raising will go directly toward covering my program fees, which include travel, room and board, and transportation while in Ireland. In addition, your support will help me with spending money for daily needs and allow me to cover my rent back home while I am away. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings me one step closer to making this experience possible.

I am deeply motivated to succeed at this stage of my academic career, and I know that this journey will help me develop as a person. My late mother never had the chance to travel like this, and I know she would be so proud to see me take this step. Studying English literature is especially meaningful to me because reading has always been a passion of mine. With fewer young people—and especially men—engaging with literature, I hope to inspire others to appreciate the power of reading and help build a better tomorrow.
