Help me Study Abroad:) ¡Apoya mi viaje a estudiar en España!

Hi, my name's Denisse! A little bit about me: I'm in 11th grade in high school. I've been a San Diego Police Cadet since June 2024. I'm currently working as an intern in HR with the City of San Diego. And I am taking college classes all while maintaining straight A's/4.59 GPA.

I've recently been given the opportunity to go study this summer abroad in Madrid, Spain. This trip is all through an organization called CIEE, and I will be studying through the Spanish Language & Culture program. I applied for this program because when I graduate high school, I hope to study International Business and this experience would really be life-changing. I plan to not only perfect my Spanish, but to grow as a person independently. The funds I collect through this fundraiser will go directly to my trip, and most importantly, my plane ticket, which is a 12 hour international flight. Thank you for your help; every donation brings me closer to my dream of visiting the beautiful country of Spain.

¡Hola, soy Denisse! Un poco sobre mí: Estoy en 11.º grado en la preparatoria. Soy cadete de la Policía de San Diego desde junio de 2024. Actualmente, trabajo como pasante en Recursos Humanos en la ciudad de San Diego. También estoy cursando cursos de colegio en la escuela con excelentes calificaciones.

Recientemente, fui aceptada para estudiar este verano en el extranjero, en Madrid, España. Este viaje se realiza a través de una organización llamada CIEE, y estudiaré a través del programa de Lengua y Cultura Española. Apliqué para este programa porque, cuando me gradúe, espero estudiar Negocios Internacionales en el colegio, y esta experiencia me cambiará la vida. Planeo no solo perfeccionar mi español, sino también crecer como persona.
