Help Me Stay with My Husband and Continue Teaching Career

Hello, everyone. My name is Noelia, I’m an immigrant from Argentina who has built a loving marriage and meaningful career in education in this country. Before Covid I was traveling the world with the love of my life and together we found home in Chicago. As many immigrants in this country, I started building my life from the ground, I worked and work hard to achieve the “american dream” I pictured in my heart, but the journey has become rocky recently.

Today, I find myself facing an urgent need to secure my citizenship due to the current political climate, which threatens my stability and future here.

I’m deeply committed to shaping young minds and giving back to the community, but the possibility of separation from my husband and the life we’ve built is something I can’t bear. By expediting this process, I hope to stay by his side and continue growing as an educator, which is something that brings me so much joy.
