# Help Me Stay With My Chosen Family - A Fight for Love and Hope
I'm struggling to find the right words, but my heart won't let me stay silent.
My name is Haxzian, and in October 2024, I took the biggest leap of my life—I moved to Texas to be with my chosen family, the people who have become my entire world. These incredible souls welcomed me with open arms and showed me what unconditional love truly means. While I've always been blessed with love from my birth family, this bond I've found here is something so precious, so life-changing, that I can't bear the thought of losing it.
{They're in the photo! My family whom I wouldn't trade for the world! My adoptive mother with the brightest smile and my homeboy in the back!!}
I came to Texas carrying dreams of transformation—of finally getting my life back on track and building the future I've always yearned for. For months, everything felt possible. I was healing, growing, and for the first time in so long, I felt genuinely hopeful about tomorrow.
Then December 2024 hit like a crushing wave. Just one week before Christmas, I lost my job. Since that devastating day, I've been fighting an uphill battle that grows steeper with each passing month.
I've never been comfortable asking for help—it goes against every fiber of my being. But watching my savings disappear while relying on both my chosen and birth families has been both humbling and heartbreaking. I'm overwhelmed with gratitude for their support, but I can see we're reaching the end of what's possible.
The thought of having to leave Texas, of being separated from my chosen family, fills me with absolute terror. I would literally rather live on the streets near the people who love me than return to where I came from. I know those words sound harsh, but they come from the deepest place of truth in my soul.Every single day is a battle. I wake up fighting demons in my mind, wrestling with darkness that tries to pull me under. But you know what keeps me going? It's them. My chosen family gives me strength when I have none left. They make me want to get up and fight when everything in me wants to surrender. They are my anchor, my hope, my reason to keep believing that better days are coming.
I'm reaching out to anyone with a compassionate heart. I don't need much—just enough to cover June's rent and utilities, with a little left over for groceries. That's it. I know in my bones that the right job is coming; I just need a little more time to find it. I need time to truly embrace Texas, to live here long enough to find the happiness I've been searching for my entire life.
I've only been here since October 2023—barely eight months to build a new life. It's not nearly enough time to give up on this dream, on this love, on this chance at real happiness.
So I'm doing the hardest thing I've ever done: I'm asking for help.
Every dollar, every share, every prayer means the world to me. You're not just helping me pay bills—you're helping me stay with my family, you're giving me the gift of time, and you're believing in my future when I'm struggling to believe in it myself. While I take this step to do the one thing that scares me most. Like I mentioned before, Asking for help
Please, help me stay where love lives. Help me keep fighting for the life I know is possible.
With endless gratitude and hope,
Haxzian
