Hi everyone,

My name is Hillary, I’m reaching out because I’m currently in a difficult financial situation and need help covering a required return trip to Canada before June 20 in order to maintain my legal visa status.

Over the past several months, I’ve been working hard to build a new chapter of my life and develop a Café project in Mexico that I truly believe in while doing what I can to support members of the community. While the Cafe project is moving forward, I’m still a couple of months away from having income from it, and right now I’ve hit a financial wall.

The cost of the round-trip flight is approximately $800 CAD, my family is in Canada and I have not seen them for a long time. My sister just had a baby and I really want to meet her. I’m also struggling to cover basic living expenses at the moment while I navigate this transition period.

Asking for help is not easy for me, but I’ve learned that sometimes the strongest thing you can do is be honest when you need support. I am always happy to help others and it brings me so much joy and gives me purpose. It is what I do here as a support worker for anyone who needs a helping hand So now I am asking you to lend a helping hand to me
