I am reaching out because I am facing several urgent challenges that threaten my independence and stability. My wheelchair lift, which is essential for me to safely transport my 300+ lb wheelchair and drive myself to appointments and errands, needs emergency repairs. The repair costs are significant, and without this lift, I lose my last bit of independence and ability to take care of myself.

On top of this, my rent has just increased, which is a huge strain on my limited monthly income. To make matters more difficult, my vision has gotten much worse and I need new prescription eyeglasses. Even with the most affordable options, the cost is more than I can manage, and it could be even higher if I can't find a place that accepts my insurance. My car is also overdue for servicing, which adds to my worries.

As many of you know, this isn't my first GoFundMe, but it's been at least four years since my last one. Life continues to be a bumpy ride, and I know this isn't an easy time for anyone. But what I'm facing could leave me homeless and living in my car. Any support, no matter the amount, would mean the world to me.
