Hello my name is Sherlyn. I am currently facing a challenging time as I am not receiving any help to pay for my university tuition. My family has provided me with as much as they can, but due to my father’s passing, there is a lack of income. Pursuing my education is very important to me, but the financial burden has become overwhelming. Without support, it’s difficult to focus on my studies and make the most of this opportunity.

I go to Rutgers Newark working toward a bachelor's degree in psychology, with hopes of becoming an HR manager in the long run. I currently have a 3.8 GPA and am actively involved on campus, which has helped me grow both academically and personally. I have opportunities that I have formed through being involved during my time here. The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward my living expenses while I am at university. This support will allow me to stay in school, keep up with my coursework, and work toward my degree without the constant stress of worrying about how to make ends meet.
