Help me stay in UK! Raising funds for Spouse Visa fees

My name is Barbara and I've lived in UK for a year now. I moved down here in April 2024 to get closer together with my UK-born boyfriend of almost two years, Matthew.

We've been very close since we've met and we couldn't deny that we both had strong feelings for each other, soon after becoming a couple. We're both seriously committed to each other and planning to go through life together, therefore I made a decision of leaving my home country of Poland to come and live closer to him.

Since April 2024 I've held a Skilled Worker Visa allowing me to live and work in UK, however with the growing financial requirements and job market limitations that follow this type of work permit I've decided to pursue a Spouse Visa route to stay here and continue living with Matthew. We had a very clear plan set up to apply for this visa by the end of August 2025 to allow smooth and easy transition from my current visa to the other.

Recently we've both gone through big changes in both our personal and professional lives and as great as the plan looked at first it turns out that with all the changes come great expenses. My own savings won't be enough to cover all of our upcoming and unavoidable spendings as well as the Spouse Visa fees that reach almost £3900.

I was really hesitant to create this fund as I've always been taught to be independent and provide for myself. However I've found myself in a situation that even with the help of my loving partner I will heavily struggle to pay for all the fees, bills and expenses.

All of the raised money will go towards covering the Spouse Visa fees which conclude of the Home Office fee (close to £1300) and NHS surcharge (close to £2600). This visa will allow me to stay in UK for another 2,5 years and continue on building my life by my partner's side.
