Help Me Stay in the UK – Fighting Deportation
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Darykie Ramos Molina, and I am 26 years old. I was born and raised in Brazil but moved to the UK when I was 18 after losing both my mother to cancer and my grandmother soon after. With no family left in Brazil, the UK became my home, as my father had migrated here years earlier.
Since moving here, I have built my life as a photographer and filmmaker. Unfortunately, I made a mistake in the past—one I deeply regret—and because of it, I am now facing deportation. I have taken full responsibility, learned from my past, and worked hard to turn my life around, but despite all of this, the Home Office is still trying to remove me from the only home I have left.
I previously had legal support through legal aid, but my solicitor (Wimbledon Solicitors) has dropped my case, leaving me to fight this battle alone. The Home Office has sent me a letter stating that they are pursuing my deportation, and I have only until April 7th to appeal.
I have been desperately searching for a new solicitor, but no one is willing to take my case through legal aid. I simply cannot afford the legal fees on my own.
This fundraiser is my last hope. The money raised will go directly toward hiring a solicitor and filing my appeal before the deadline.
I have no family left in Brazil—my only family is my father, who is a British citizen. Life has already taken my mother and grandmother from me; I cannot bear to be taken away from my father too.
Please, if you can help in any way—by donating or sharing my story—I would be forever grateful. Every contribution, no matter how small, brings me one step closer to staying in the only home I have left.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
