Hi, my name is Nariaya, and I’m currently a first-year college student. I’m reaching out for help because I’ve hit a financial emergency that could end my education before it truly begins.

What many people don’t know is that during my senior year of high school, I was homeless and living with a friend due to a difficult relationship with my mom. I kept this to myself, not even telling my dad, because I didn’t want to be a burden. Despite everything, I graduated and made it into college, something I’ve worked so hard for and am deeply proud of.

Now I’m facing a tuition balance that I must pay in order to remain enrolled. Without it, I won’t be able to finish the year. I’ve applied for scholarships, loans, and taken on work, but it still isn’t enough.
