Help Me Stay Housed & Start Fresh

Hi, my name is Kayla, and I’m reaching out with humility and hope.

Over the past six months, I’ve been actively job searching—applying, interviewing, and pushing through countless rejections. Despite my best efforts, I’ve been without steady income during this time. But I haven’t given up. I finally have a job lined up that I’m excited about and grateful for. However, the timing has put me in a tough spot.

My current lease ends this month, and without immediate support, I risk eviction. I’ve found a more affordable place with a roommate that will allow me to regain stability, but I need help covering the remaining rent for this month and the moving costs, including the deposit for the new place.

I’m asking for $3,000 to cover:

• Final rent payment on my current lease

• Security deposit and first month’s rent at the new place

• Moving expenses and basic needs during the transition

This isn’t easy to ask. I believe in working hard and taking care of my responsibilities, and I’ve done all I can to make things work. I just need a little help to cross this bridge.
