Hi, my name is Camille Williams, and I’m a first-generation college student doing everything I can to stay enrolled and continue building the future I’ve worked so hard for. Everything I get goes straight to my tuition.
Right now, I’m facing a serious challenge. If my remaining tuition balance is not paid by January 15, my classes will be dropped, which would interrupt my education and delay my progress. This deadline has been extremely stressful, especially knowing how much effort I’ve already put into getting here.
Since starting college, I’ve made meaningful friendships, joined the track program, and found a forensic psychology program that truly supports my academic and career goals. This school has already become more than just a place I attend classes; it feels like a community I belong to. If I’m forced to leave and try to transfer, I would not have enough transferable credits and would likely have to start over, setting me back both academically and financially.
I am a dedicated student-athlete committed to running track in college, and I balance my academics while working to support myself and my family. I currently work on campus and am doing everything within my control to earn and contribute financially. In addition, I plan to put my cosmetology license to use while I’m enrolled so I can continue supporting myself as much as possible. I’ve included a link below to products and materials needed for this work. Anything helps and is deeply appreciated, but donations toward tuition are the priority so I can meet the January 15 deadline and remain enrolled.
My mom is a single mother doing everything she can for my siblings and me, and while she supports me in every way possible, there is only so much she can financially handle. I am actively working, applying for scholarships, and staying determined, but I still need help closing this gap before the deadline.
College means more to me than just earning a degree. My goal is to graduate, continue competing in track, and pursue a career in forensic psychology where I can help others.
If you are able to donate, share, or offer encouragement, I would be incredibly grateful. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for supporting me during this critical moment.
