Hi, I’m Katie. I’m 21, a college student, and a wheelchair user. Getting around has always been a challenge, but it’s gotten even harder since my adapted van, which was made in 2006, stopped working. Without reliable transportation, it’s been tough to get to school, stay involved in my community, and just have the freedom to go where I need to. I’m hoping to raise enough to get a new van so I can get back to doing what I love and stay connected to the people and places that matter most.
