I am creating this fundraiser for myself and my son, William, after our lives were turned upside down when he was shot and hospitalized. Right now, my focus is being by William’s side as he goes through this, but being at the hospital means I am out of work and unable to keep up the way I normally do. I am someone who tries to stay independent and handle things on my own. I work a full-time job, and I also do DoorDash and Instacart on the side to make ends meet. Asking for help is not something I do often, but right now my family truly needs support.

The funds from this fundraiser will help cover our household bills while I am away from work, as well as gas for the trips back and forth to the hospital so I can continue being there for William.
