Hello everyone. I’m Nuri. I’m currently having some issues with affording to pay for Uni and my rent because of money issues back home in Nigeria. I’m an international student studying a Law degree at the University of Nottingham. I am asking for this amount due to the difficultly in being able to afford my rent and school fees. I am also the LGBT+ officer at the University for the 23/24 period (and the recently liberation officer for 24/25 who would be focusing on catering for a circumstance like mine for other international students) and would like to make a difference at the University of Nottingham but I wouldn’t be able to do so if my access to the Uni is revoked. I am also working to try and pay my rent but unfortunately it’s causing a disturbance with my uni work and an international student, I’m only allowed to work 20 hours a week, which is barely enough to afford rent and uni fees. Please feel free to ask me more about the situation if you’re sceptical about the situation ❤️
