Hello friends, family, and kind supporters,
I’m excited to share that I’ve been accepted into a PhD program at National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan. I will be joining Dr. Tan Choo Hock's Lab and continuing my previous research on endogenous snake venom inhibitors. This has been a long journey reaching this opportunity as I havent been able to find a suitable program for me in the past 3 years due to funding or retiring mentors. I did a lot of research to find this program and was lucky to receive an international fellowship.
As I prepare to move from the United States to Taiwan, I’m facing significant upfront costs: flights, housing setup, visa expenses, and initial living costs before my funding kicks in. So any help for the transition between leaving my job to getting settled to starting my program is very helpful.
I appreciate everyone who has helped me in the past with all of my moves, I promise I dont keep trying to make them bigger, just know that I am willing to help anyone that I can and I always continue to help out anyone who asks for similar contributions. I have been blown away with how helpful my community in person and online has been, but please do not ever feel any obligations! Anything helps.
