Hi, my name is Valentina and I’m fundraising to help make my dream of moving to Canada a reality!

After years of hard work, I’m so excited to share that I’ll be graduating in 2027, and in July, I’ll be making a life changing move to Canada. This dream didn’t come out of nowhere. I had the privilege of doing an exchange program in Toronto for a year, and that experience completely stole my heart. The people, the culture, the city. I knew then that Canada was somewhere I was meant to be long-term.

I’ve been granted an International Experience Canada (IEC) Working Holiday visa, and I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to return. My goal isn’t just to visit, it’s to truly plant roots, contribute to the community, and give back to a country that gave so much to me during my exchange year. Whether that’s through volunteering, working, or simply being an active and caring member of the community, I am committed to making a positive impact.

Relocating internationally comes with significant upfront costs such as flights, first and last month’s rent, health coverage, and getting settled before my first paycheck. Every contribution brings me one step closer to returning to the place that feels like home.
