My name is Regina, and I am sharing my story in hopes of receiving support to begin my education in Canada.

Nine months ago, my family and I immigrated to Canada in search of a better future. Since arriving, life has changed completely. Adapting to a new country, a new language, and a completely new life has been one of the biggest challenges we have ever faced. We left behind everything familiar with the hope of building a better future through hard work and education.

Since I was young, education has always been one of the most important parts of my life. I have always worked hard in school and consistently earned the highest grades, because I believe that education is the key to building a better future. Even through all the challenges of moving to a new country, I have held on to the dream of continuing my studies and creating better opportunities for myself and my family.

Recently, I was accepted into Algonquin College, and this opportunity means everything to me. Being accepted feels like the first real step toward the future I have worked so hard for. It gives me hope that all the sacrifices my family has made will be worth it.

Right now, the biggest obstacle is tuition. My first semester costs $9,900 CAD, and for my family, that amount is overwhelming. My parents and I are working as hard as we can, but as newcomers in Canada we are still trying to build stability and create better opportunities for our family. We are a family of five, including my two younger siblings, and although we are doing everything possible, saving enough for tuition in such a short time has been incredibly difficult.

I am asking for help only for this first term so I can begin my studies while our financial situation becomes more stable. Once we are in a better position, my family and I are determined to continue covering my education through our own hard work.

This support would not only help me pay for school, it would give me the chance to start building the future I have dreamed of for so long. Every donation, no matter the amount, brings me one step closer to being able to begin this journey.
