Help Me Soar- I am Adam Harry India’s 1st transgender pilot
Donation protected
Hi, I’m Adam Harry.
I’ve wanted to fly since I was a kid.
But when I came out as trans at 17, my family disowned me. I lost everything, my home, my support system, my safety.
In the years that followed, I used my voice to fight back. My activism helped push India’s civil aviation authority, DGCA, to open its doors to aspiring trans pilots. But for my own safety, I had to leave the country I love.
Still, I never gave up!
Now I’m 26 and studying aviation in Australia. I’ve completed the first year of my Diploma and am now working toward a Bachelor’s in Aviation while training for my Commercial Pilot License. I’m just four semesters away from becoming the first openly trans person of Indian origin to fly professionally.
But I need your help to make it to the finish line.
I’m raising funds to complete my training, every donation goes directly to tuition, flight hours, and certification. My journey is also being documented in a feature film called CHIRAKU by my chosen brother, Neelu Bhuman, so others can see what it takes to fly through a storm like this.
I’m not just flying for myself.
I’m flying for every trans person who’s been told they don’t belong, and that their dreams don’t matter.
Will you help me soar?
