For years, I have lived in constant physical pain, emotional silence and overwhelmed with anxiety. Because of long-term health challenges and severe dental complications, I have lost most of my teeth and developed severe PTSD. With help, my confidence to smile, speak, and live life fully would be a dream come true. Snap-On veneers would undoubtedly change mine and my son’s life in so many ways. I don’t speak without covering my mouth most times, I never show my teeth while smiling for a photo and I am constantly thinking about my mouth. It’s exhaustingly overwhelming. Posting this took a lot of courage. 

My 13-year-old child hasn’t seen me truly smile in years… and that breaks my heart more than anything. Especially because he means the absolute world to me and he deserves genuine laughter from his own mother.

I am trying to raise enough to cover urgent dental restoration with the use of Snap on veneers, my ability to eat normally, and finally feel confident enough to smile again and feel human. Every single dollar brings me closer to having a normal quality of life—and feeling like myself again. Instead of all of the constant negativity, dirty looks asks negative assumptions.

•My Story•

A few years ago, I trusted a dentist who promised to “fix” my teeth. They looked great, for a while. Until they didn’t. Please don’t misunderstand, this is not caused from lack of hygiene.  Now, I’ve endured years of painful extractions, repeated dental work, and ongoing complications. I often have to wait months—or even longer—between treatments because of insurance limits. Unfortunately insurance does not cover any sort of veneers, as I’m sure they believe to be esthetic. Insurance companies don’t cover what they believe to be aesthetic. Even if it would make your life, happier or healthier or overall better. Not only would these help my teeth from getting any worse, they would protect them as well.

This has affected every part of my life. My confidence is depleted. Happiness has suffered. I’ve even been too afraid to go into public, terrified of being judged the moment someone sees my teeth. Or that when they do, they stop looking me in the eyes and start staring at my mouth instead.

I don’t want to live like this anymore. No one should ever have to hold back the ability to smile or have uncontrolled laughter.

To finally restore my smile, these are the estimated costs:

• Porcelain veneers: $800 – $2,500 per tooth

• Full smile: $6,000 – $25,000

More Affordable Option and What I am Seeking: 

• Pop-on / Snap-on/Shiny Smile veneers: $300 – $700 per arch

•I was able to locate a highly rated, reputable and reliable set (top and bottom) for the cheapest price of $480 

These options would finally allow me to eat, smile, and live without constant anxiety and embarrassment. I could literally exist again with my personality as a whole.
