My name is Shauna, and I never thought I’d find myself in this position, but life sometimes brings unexpected challenges. I have dentures, and my bottom plate has become so loose that even denture glue can’t keep it in place. Every day, my dentures move around, cutting into my gums and causing them to bleed. The pain has gotten so bad that I now have an underbite, and eating anything other than soft or puréed food is almost impossible.

Getting permanent clips to hold my dentures in place would change my life in so many ways. I would finally be able to eat again without pain, and my confidence would return. My dentures wouldn’t move around freely, so my gums could heal and I could enjoy meals like I used to. If I can’t get them fixed soon, I’ll have to stop wearing them, which would make my face sink in and leave me feeling uncomfortable and without confidence.

I never imagined I would be here, asking for help—but life has a way of changing our plans. Due to unexpected circumstances, I’m facing challenges that I can’t overcome on my own. I’m doing everything I can, but the financial strain has made this journey incredibly difficult.
