Help Me Smile Again: Dental Restoration Fund

Hi, my name is Phil and I'm reaching out with a hopeful heart.

For years, I’ve been struggling with serious dental issues that have affected every part of my life — from my confidence and ability to eat properly, to my mental health and everyday interactions. I currently live full-time in my van, doing my best to get by, but the daily struggle with chronic pain, insecurity, and depression has made it hard to see a way forward.

My teeth are in bad shape. I’ve lost some, others are badly decayed, and the pain can be unbearable. It affects my speech, my ability to eat, and most of all — my smile. I miss smiling without feeling ashamed. I miss feeling like myself.

Living on the road has its own challenges, and unfortunately, dental care is far out of reach for me financially. I’ve tried everything I can to manage on my own, but restorative dental care — likely including extractions, implants or dentures, and other procedures — is far beyond what I can afford.

This GoFundMe is my way of asking for help to reclaim a part of myself that’s been lost — my smile. But more than that, I’m asking for a chance to heal mentally and emotionally. This is about more than just teeth — it’s about hope, self-worth, and being able to face the world again without shame.
