On May 8th, my life took an unexpected turn when I suffered a severe fall down a flight of stairs in a restaurant. The impact was devastating—l hit my head, possibly losing consciousness briefly, and sustained multiple injuries that have left me in a state of physical and emotional distress.
As a result of the fall, I now bear the visible marks of my ordeal: a massive hematoma on my cheek, which has since turned into a painful black eye, and a burst lip that adds to the external reminders of my accident. In addition to these visible injuries, l've also discovered a hematoma on my tibia, along with neck and shoulder pain.
However, perhaps the most daunting aspect of my recovery lies in the damage inflicted upon my dental health. The fall caused significant trauma to my front teeth, resulting in their fracture.
Unfortunately, the road to restoring my smile is paved with costly dental procedures. Here in the UK, dental treatments can be prohibitively expensive, especially when it comes to complex procedures like root canals and implants.
