After struggling with addiction for 7 years, I’m grateful to say that I’ve been clean and sober for the past two years. During that time, I’ve been working hard to rebuild my life and am currently in a transitional housing program through the Salvation Army. As part of the program, I’m required to save half of my income to prepare for stable housing when I complete it.

Unfortunately, the years I spent battling addiction took a serious toll on my health—especially my teeth. I’ve lost many of them, and it’s made everyday things like eating and smiling painful and difficult. While I’m committed to continuing to save for my future, I’m also hoping to restore something many people take for granted: the ability to eat without pain and to smile with confidence again.

I’m asking for help to cover the cost of necessary dental work so I can continue moving forward without losing all of the savings I’ve worked so hard to build. Any support means more than I can express—thank you for helping me take another step toward a healthier, stable future.
