Hello! My name is Peranya Visitchantaragoon. I’m a Thai classical musician, music composer, and music teacher based in Australia.

I’ve had the honor of representing Thai culture internationally through my music. My performances have won prestigious awards such as the Royal Highness Princess Sirindhorn’s Cup, and I was a Grand Prize Virtuoso 2022 winner in Vienna and London. Most recently, the sound of my traditional Thai fiddle (Saw U) was featured in the HBO Original Series The White Lotus Season 3.

I’m now raising funds to expand my work further by supporting a multicultural band that fuses Thai traditional music with global styles like Indian classical rhythms and Western jazz. Our goal is to promote cultural understanding, inspire young minds, and share the beauty of Thai music with audiences worldwide.

Why this matters to me:

Thai music is a powerful expression of our heritage. As someone who has dedicated the whole life to preserving and sharing this art, I believe it has the ability to bridge cultures and touch hearts. I also work as a teacher, introducing Thai music to children of all backgrounds, helping them discover pride in cultural identity through sound and storytelling.
