My best friend suddenly passed away yesterday in San Diego, and I am now faced with the responsibility of settling his estate. This includes traveling across the country, cleaning out his apartment, handling his belongings, and arranging memorial services to honor his memory. It’s an overwhelming and emotional task, but I am committed to making sure everything is taken care of with the respect and care he deserves.

The funds raised will help cover the costs of my flight and lodging, as well as the many expenses involved in cleaning out his apartment, selling or donating his belongings, and organizing memorial services. This is all happening at a time when I just started a new job a week ago, so I haven’t received a paycheck yet and will need to take time off, which could put my employment at risk. Despite these challenges, I know I have to do this for him, and I am honored to take on this responsibility.
