Hi, my name is Wesley Swainston, whether you're here because of a friend or social media, these donations are going towards Pecos, my current foster train. For the past two years, I’ve volunteered at shelters, training dogs to help them find their forever homes while serving in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Now that I’ve completed my service, I’m fully committed to continuing this work, focusing on dogs at risk of being euthanized or deemed unadoptable due to behavioral issues.
Currently, I am fostering Pecos, a cattle dog who was returned twice for biting and deemed unadoptable. I have fostered Pecos for six months, providing him with the training and care he needs to become adoptable and find his forever family. This mission requires significant resources, food, crates, training gear, toys, beds, vet visits, time, and more, to give him the best chance at a new life. Keeping dogs for as long as they need it, is essential for their success. This timeframe varies from dog to dog.
The training equipment will be donated to the family who adopts Pecos.
I understand that I can’t train every dog, but I hope to inspire other trainers to volunteer. I can’t do this alone. Your support will directly fund the care of these dogs, giving them the chance they deserve. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to saving a life. I will provide regular updates on Pecos on my social media platforms, and you can follow my work on social media through "For the Dogs"
