Hello family and friends,
Many of you know that serving others has always been a deep part of who I am. Whether through nursing, fitness, ministry, or simply encouraging someone through a hard season, my heart has always been drawn to helping people feel seen, cared for, and alive again. I am honored and excited to share that I have been given the opportunity to travel to Africa on a medical mission trip through an invitation from a trusted colleague. Our team will be serving in a Maasai village in Tanzania, where we will provide basic medical care, health education, compassionate support, and the love of Christ to the surrounding community. You can learn more about the mission trip here: https://new.express.adobe.com/webpage/bQA7NXp9VsYrd (Please note: donations should be made directly to me through this GoFundMe, not through the link.)
As a nurse, I have dedicated myself to caring for patients and families with compassion, wisdom, and quality care. Alongside nursing, I come from a strong fitness and wellness background. Movement has always been a powerful tool in my life, and I love helping others feel alive through mobility, healing, confidence, and laughter. I have seen how movement can restore not only the body, but the mind and spirit as well.
My heart for service began years ago and has continued in many forms. From 2011 to 2015, I volunteered my time in Connecticut by leading free fitness dance classes for the church community through Calvary Chapel. I have served with Faith 2 Faith Ministries (https://www.f2fmi.org), helping young teenagers grow in their relationship with Christ and encouraging them in their identity and purpose. I was also one of the co-founders of a young adults ministry called LIFTED Ministries, where we served adults ages 18+ through faith, connection, encouragement, and outreach. Serving the community has never felt like an obligation to me—it has always felt like a calling and a joy.
This mission trip is a chance to extend that calling even further. The funds raised will help cover the costs of travel, lodging, transportation, medical supplies, and other mission-related expenses. I kindly ask that donations be made by May 1, as this is the deadline for funding to be completed. If I am unable to collect the full funding by May 1, your donation will be applied toward the next mission trip next year. Your support—whether through a donation, sharing my fundraiser, or keeping me in your thoughts and prayers—will make a real difference in the lives of those we serve and in making this mission possible for me. Thank you for considering being part of this journey with me.
